Mrs. Thornton combines her love of children, her knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and her life-long passion for music to teach a class that is enjoyed by all.

Linda Thornton
Linda brought Music Together® to Westchester in 1993 and taught the program at The Bennett Conservatory of Music in Croton from 1994 to 2007. Mrs. Thornton is a certified Music Together Teacher as well as a member of the Director's Leadership Group, and represented Music Together at the North American NAEYC Conference in Toronto in 1998. She is a member of ECMMA. On staff at the Purchase Children's Center for 13 years as Pre-School Music Specialist and Nursery School Teacher, she now devotes all of her energy to Music Together.
After graduating from Bennett College with an A.S. in Child Study, Mrs. Thornton studied voice, dance and musical theater in NYC at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the International School of Dance at Carnegie Hall.
She has sung professionally in church choirs and clubs and is listed in Who's Who in Theater for her performance in an off-Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle.
Mrs. Thornton lives in Garrison, NY with her family and five cats. |

Molly Greece
Molly Greece is a local artist and art therapist, with an M.S in Art Therapy, from The College of New Rochelle. She has worked in a variety of settings with both children and adults: at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, and Four Winds Hospital, Katonah, NY. She is the owner of Willow Moon Studios, LLC, through which she sells her artwork and teaches creativity workshops.
Molly believes that the making of art is a pure and soulful act that is a reflection of our human essence, regardless of our age. As a mother of two, she is fascinated by the development of creativity in children. She is passionate about providing the children she works with the opportunity to develop their self esteem, expression, and self-understanding, as well as guiding them in exploring the world throuth art.

Kristy Cohen
Kristy Cohen is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor and has taught both adult and childrens yoga since 1998. She was certified at It's Yoga in San Francisco in an Ashtanga-based yoga style. She was certified again in 2004 by Next Generation Yoga to teach children's Yoga. Kristy continues her yogic studies through programs at Omega and Kripalu yearly. She has taught basic hatha yoga, kid's yoga, restorative and Ashtanga. Now that she is a mother, her focus has turned to postpartum repair and sharing the healing qualities of yoga with moms and babies.

Jill Geddes
Jill began her professional career at eighteen as a singer and actress touring in Hal Prince’s Evita as Peron’s Mistress. Upon returning from the road she studied for two years at Indiana University as a voice major. But the theatre came calling again and she went on to tour as Cinderella in James Lapine’s Into The Woods. She played many roles after that including Fantine in the national tour of Les Miserables.
Jill continues to perform regularly at concerts including the New Voices series at Symphony Space in Manhattan and the Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
She was introduced to Music Together® eleven years ago when she enrolled her daughter in West Side Music Together, and her experience continued with her son.
Jill is a certified Music Together Teacher and apprenticed with Linda Thornton at Music on Hudson. She is happy to be spreading the joy that Music Together has given her and her children. |
